Digital participation & resilience curriculum

Works

EyeOpenerWorks supported the East African Women at Web network in transforming existing training content into a Digital Literacy curriculum based on the principles of active and experiential learning. The curriculum consists of 8 modules that facilitators can use as ‘building blocks’ to create tailor-made training programs for beginner, intermediate and advanced target groups and training lengths of 1-5 days. To deepen knowledge and skills about Digital resilience, a 3-day programme focusing specifically on understanding, dealing with and bouncing back from online violence was developed additionally.

The Women at Web project is a collaboration between DW Akademie and 10 partner organizations in Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda and Uganda and aims at strengthening the security and freedom of expression of women on the Internet in East-Africa.
