Ukarimu is innovating the Tourism & Hospitality industry in East-Africa through skilling. Driven by challenges like youth unemployment, low quality product development and the need to safeguard decent work in the tourism sector, EyeOpenerWorks has been leading the development of skills-based Ukarimu training curricula and implements capacity building programmes for youth and tourism businesses. All curricula are co-created in collaboration with a wide network of public and private partners, including tourism businesses, private sector associations and educational institutes.
