Works
Transforming Uganda Tourism Project (TUT-P) 2021–2026 aims to transform Uganda’s tourism into a resilient and sustainable sector, enhancing visitor experiences and local livelihoods. The project focuses on three intervention areas: building the capacity of tour operators, strengthening business service organizations (e.g. the Uganda Tourism Board), and fostering an enabling environment for sustainable tourism. Activities include coaching, developing sustainable tourism standards, and creating new marketing strategies. The project also promotes innovative tourism products and collaborations, ensuring long-term sector benefits. EyeOpenerWorks plays a coordinating role in the project, ensuring effective implementation of activities across the three main intervention areas in collaboration with a wide network of international and Ugandan experts.
