Participatory Video Evaluation

Project for

War Child Canada

Works

Building on its extensive experience with Participatory Video Evaluation, EyeOpenerWorks supported War Child Canada (WCC)  to engage project participants in data collection and evaluation of programming focused on their rights related to education, peacebuilding and livelihoods in Uganda, DRC, and South Sudan.

In Uganda, EyeOpenerWorks designed and implemented a PVE process with youth from refugee settlements and host communities evaluating the Quality secondary education in emergency (Q-See) programme.

In South Sudan and DRC, EyeOpenerWorks trained and coached a local team of facilitators on-distance to implement the PVE methodology to evaluate the Bridge Builders peacebuilding and livelihoods project and Interactive Radio Instruction programme respectively.

The experiences and methodologies were documented in a PV Guidance Package and PV method notes.
