Maatschappelijke Diensttijd (Community Service) offers young people in The Netherlands between the ages of 12 and 30 the opportunity to develop their talents for a number of weeks to months, to meet people outside their own world and to do something for others and/or society. As a long-term partner of Careibu/Stichting Senior&Student, EyeOpenerWorks developed a coaching approach for different buddy-projects that connect students with vulnerable people, such elderly and children. This is to make sure that buddies on both sides of the spectrum experience more well being, while working on personal goals.
