The Intergender Experience – 1325 is a program developed with a consortium consisting of two Dutch organizations and one regional organization based in the DRC. The intention is to work towards promoting UNSC Resolution 1325 in Africa’s Great Lakes (GL) Region in the period (2023-2026). By strengthening successful interventions and bringing in innovative strategies, we aim to take the current efforts to enhance women’s rights and gender equality to a next level, both in terms of (geographic) scope and depth. As a development partner of Mensen met een Missie since 2017, EyeOpenerWorks co-developed an experiential learning program by and for interfaith peacebuilders aiming at integrating personal reflection and awareness into the practice of interfaith peace building.
