Between 2016 – 2020 AVSI Foundation implemented the Skilling Youth for Employment in Agribusiness (SKY) project in Uganda focusing on:
- Boosting skills development in Uganda through the Agriculture Sector Skills Council
- Strengthening the capacity of agri-institutes to skill
- Enhancing the capacity of agribusinesses to skill
- Skilling 6,876 youth for employment in agribusiness
EyeOpenerWorks supported the SKY project in designing and implementing a Creative Monitoring, Evaluation and Communication Strategy making use of mobile data collection, participatory video and photography, and the visualization of results in videos for external communication.
