Governance Leadership Journey

Project for

GIZ Uganda

Works

The Governance and Civil Society Program (GCSP) implemented by GIZ supports state and non-state organizations in strengthening their mandates and capacities in the areas of human rights, accountability, and participation of Civil Society Organizations. EyeOpenerWorks executed an interactive curriculum development process to create a Governance Leadership Journey for local government leaders in Uganda who wish to contribute to a more inclusive society. Through the programme they can improve their knowledge and skills in the areas of  1) Leadership skills development, 2) Improved governance and human rights practices, and 3) Digitalisation of information sharing and processing. The process included co-creation sessions to define the target group, scope and modalities; programme development and piloting, and an implementation roadmap.
