Works

EyeOpenerWorks conducted a series of reviews for the Sports for Development (SfD) programme, resulting in baseline, midterm and endline reports. Review activities included the facilitation of a learning visit in Kenya and Uganda; key informant interviews with SfD partners, implementers, embassy representatives and stakeholders; coordination of a quantitative survey in 4 countries; collection of a series of stories of change; review and adaptation of the Theory of Change.

The SfD programme is implemented in six regions across the world by a partnership consisting of the International Sports Alliance (ISA), Right To Play (RTP), the Royal Dutch Football Federation (KNVB), and the Royal Dutch Hockey Federation (KNHB). Key emphasis of the programme is on using sports to contribute to the realization of a number of key Sustainable Development Goals.

  • A learning visit that facilitated joint learning and exchange among the lead partners
  • Enhanced capacity among SfD implementing partners in 10 countries to collect key monitoring data
  • Baseline, mid-term and end-line report
