Martijn Harlaar

Martijn is a social entrepreneur and facilitator, with a focus on responsible tourism, conservation, and sustainable agri-business, in particular coffee. He’s passionate about designing and facilitating participatory learning, strategy, and business development processes.

Whether he guides a multi-stakeholder collaboration, co-develops an interactive training program, or supports the development of an impact-driven business model, Martijn is keen to inspire action, and strengthen collaboration.

Backed by a Master of Arts in Public Administration and Organizational Science, he has led and contributed to projects for organizations such as AVSI Foundation, CBI Netherlands, the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands (in Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda, Ethiopia, Indonesia, and Bangladesh), the Embassy of Ireland in Uganda, GIZ, War Child Holland, and the Netherlands Enterprise Agency.
