case description
In Uganda, Mensen met een Missie partners with 10 faith based organizations to implement the Faith Voice Uganda Program. The program promotes greater engagement by communities and religious leaders to address and provide support to victims/survivors of DV, FGM and early/forced marriages.
During two monitoring cycles in 2018 and 2019, EyeOpenerWorks trained 20 representatives of the partner organizations on the Most Significant Change with Participatory Video approach enabling them to reflect on the outcomes of the Faith Voice Uganda Program. Together, the participants interviewed over 300 community members, religious leaders and other stakeholders about their most significant changes.
For each story collection cycle, each organization edited a short video clip with the most significant stories. The videos were screened and reflected upon, among other during a partner learning event in 2018 and a Regional Symposium on Responsiveness of Faith Leaders to GBV in Northern and Eastern Uganda in 2019.
